iPhone 12 vs Samsung Galaxy S20: Display

Samsung Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch quad HD OLED display that can run at 120Hz refresh rate, so users can enjoy more fluid scrolling and smoother video playback and gaming. iPhone 12 has an OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate only. And even higher-end models iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will not have 120HZ refresh rate.

Besides, Galaxy S20 has a higher resolution with 3200 x 1400 pixels, as compared to 2532x1170 pixels of iPhone 12.

iPhone 12 vs Samsung Galaxy S20: Camera

Samsung Galaxy S20's camera gets an upgrade over its predecessor - S10. It has three cameras, including a 12MP lens for the primary camera (apparently 28% larger than the main sensor on Galaxy S10), a 64MP telephoto lens with 3X lossless zoon and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

A brand new camera feature of Galaxy S20 is Single Take. Enabling this Photography mode, S20 will take photos and record videos with all of the cameras and will give you the best shots and moments in one album.

iPhone 12 will feature just dual-lens camera setups, namely a wide camera and an ultra-wide camera. These two cameras will allegedly share the same resolution with the wide and ultra-wide cameras of Galaxy S20. A new TrueDepth camera system is available in the iPhone 12, but LiDAR which Apple added in the 2020 iPad Pro models will not be included in this model.

iPhone 12 vs Samsung Galaxy S20: Processor

Samsung Galaxy S20 coming with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 12GB RAM and 128GB storage, can give you fast processing speed. However, iPhone 12 may be twice as fast as S20 thanks for the A14 Bionic chip, according to techradar. Even paired with just 4GB RAM, the A14 Bionic 5nm chip can help iPhone 12 defeat all Android phones, including Samsung Galaxy S20.

iPhone 12 vs Samsung Galaxy S20: Battery Life

From the table above we've seen a big difference in battery size between iPhone 12 and Galaxy S20. iPhone 12 packs a 2,775 mAh battery while Galaxy S20 features a 4,000 mAh battery. Does this give S20 an advantage over iPhone 12? It might not. Battery capacity isn't the only factor that affects power usage. An efficient processor such as the A14 Bionic chip can extend battery life.

iPhone 12 vs Samsung Galaxy S20: Which One to Buy

iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S20 each has its strong point. iPhone 12 is cheaper and works faster; while Galaxy S20 provides better camera, display and specifications. It's hard to say which is better, but now it should be easy for you to figure out which suits you better.
